It was late in the evening, almost midnight to be exact. Lysander was sitting in a booth in the far corner, a paper cup of coffee clutched between his cold hands. He watched intently as the liquid in the cup swirled around. The waitress that had served him was glancing in his direction every few minutes. It didn't make him on edge though. He always gets glances like that. Lysander was possibly the least conceited person in the world, but he knew he was inhumanly handsome.
The diner was less then full, quite less. Save for him and the waitress, the only occupants was a trucker and a middle-aged woman with severely damaged, blond hair. He didn't mind the loneliness.

Courtney danced into the diner. Almost unaffected by the smell that hit her. Her throat burned but she ignored it. She took a glance round to see what they was. She saw a handsom stranger sitting by himself. Handsom to the point past humanly possible. She took a seat opposite him. "Hi there." She said happily. Her burgendy eyes bright, obviously feeding not long before. She was safe she was happy, and she was lonely. She took about look around. Two others were sitting at the tables, while the waitress was standing not far off. She concentrated on the stranger infront of her, she smiled at him hoping to seem innocent.

Lysander looked at the girl in front of him. Of all the vampires, a human-drinking one had to sit in front of me. After what had happened at Camille's, he still couldn't believe what he had done. His eyes were still red albeit a tiny bit darker since the other night. "Hello," he said carefully, but swiftly. Lysander noted the tone of her voice. He was never quick to judge a person, but this girl seemed...different. And not in a good way. Lysander smiled back warily. "My name's Lysander," he said, wanting to get introductions over with. "And you are?"

"Oh your eyes, I didn't notice. It won't last though will it." She shrugged, "You smell all wrong. Animal drinker wanted a little taste of the good stuff." She leaned towards him so she could stress her words, "It'll be harder to resist now, I hope you know that Lysander."
She leaned back in her chair, no one had heard her she had been talking too fast, well too fast for humans, normal for vampire's like themselves. "Courtney." She replied in a normal voice again.

“The good stuff? Hardly. I think I’ll stick to animal blood, thank you very much,” he sneered. “My resistance is much better then you think. And I really don’t need some like you to tell me how good my resistance is. I’ve only killed one human when I was a newborn. How many have you killed? Because, you see, unlike you, I’ve got morals.” His eyes stared at the grainy table, but they still followed each of her moves, where her fingers lay, how her lips moved. “Well, it’s nice meeting you Courtney. What business do you have in Forks…if you don’t mind me asking.”

Courtney hissed through her teeth, "I didn't question your resistance I was stating a fact. You taste human blood, and then you thirst for it, if you small one drop it taste will hit you, you won't be able to control yourself." She relaxed slightly, "Well I am a TRUE vampire, who drinks from the prey that has been given, so . . . I have lost count."
She chuckled, "You won't like it." She leaned back against the chair. "The Cullens are creating an army, I have come to stop them." She created quickly, "Have you heard about the disappearences in Settle, 4 of them, 4 newborns." She chuckled.
"That would mean that the Cullens are planning to cut down on my feeding numbers don't you think. If one disappears every now and again in the forest no one will suspect a thing, but the newborn will cut them down where they stand."
She didn't have a clue if he brought that, or if Victoria had run into this one before and spun him a different story, she would just hope he had seen the news lately.
