Courtnet settled herself in a large tree. Lying on the branch with a sheet under her, her head on a pillow. Surprisingly comfortable. She prred lightly looking at the stars through a gap in the canapy. She had met two of the newborns in the park but she guessed that there were more. How many more she didn't know? She sighed. Dimitri was fun in annoy ever now and again but she could argue thim him without him flipping and attacking. She shrugged it was the same thing for her. Only a few words could have her throwing herself into a fight.
She sighed again. Back in the woods again, she thought happily, where I feel more at home. She had been staying with Victoria but she didn't bothered to go back. She had drifted away and hadn't even seen her for awhile. She had seen James at a party but they hadn't really spoken. She shruged against the tree. She took a deep breath, breathing in the pure air.

Yeah my babys pretty as a car crash Sexy as the stinger of a hornet in your arm
To say Victoria was wandering would have been a lie. More truthfully, the orange-haired vampired was escaping. Briefly escaping, that is, from the annoying company Freddy -James's pesky newborn- offered. In addition, the cruel vampire was searching for a particular creature that she hadn't had much of an opportunity to converse with of late, and, who, in Victoria's opinion, offered decent company. Especially compared to the likes of Freddy Umphries.
Victoria had been successfully tracking Courtney for roughly an hour. She didn't have quite the same gift for it as James (No, her gift had more to do with escaping than anything.), but, after spending so many decades with her beloved mate, Victoria wasn't half bad at it. Not to mention the thick cover of the night sky aided in the orange-haired vampire's endeavors since she didn't have to worry about crossing paths with a hapless human as much. Besides, Victoria much preferred night to day; it just felt more right.
About halfway through her tracking endeavor, Victoria had broke off in a brief hunt in order to sate her thirst. It was nearly becoming unbearable as she picked up the stray scents various humans had left behind on their journeys through the trees. Hunters, most likely. Not to mention Victoria tended to be a much more pleasant creature to deal with when her extreme hunger for human blood wasn't so strong on her mind. So, with brightly colored crimson eyes, Victoria approached her target. Her bold actions were nothing knew to her; it would be the regular for even someone Victoria didn't know. Sometimes Victoria's lack of fear played to her disadvantage, although she refused to see it that way.
"Hiding from me?" questioned the orange-haired vampire in her sing song voice that was reserved for mocking and teasing. Her sharp feline-like features were pointed upward slightly although her voice remained at a volume that would be appropriate for someone standing only a couple of feet in front of Victoria. Like any other vampire, Victoria was sure Courtney would be capable of hearing her. "It's been a long time."
Yeah my babys pretty as a car crash; subtle as a splinter Yeah my babys smooth as sandpaper; warm just like the winter

Courtney had been staring at the stars, she had drifted into a state where she wasn't thinking at all. It was almost like sleeping, but she was alert to every sound. Not a surprise she heard someone coming in the silence of the forest. The sound had been getting louder and then disappeared, Courtney relaxed, but then it came closer, she tensed.
The smell was familiar, familliar how, she glanced down to find Victoria below her. She chuckled and gentle possitioned herself so she was lying on her stomach looking down. "But Victoria, you know it's impossible to hide from you. I'm not that good." She smiled. "Indeed it has, what was it, the fight where i lost my temper." She purred.
She didn't realise how much she missed Victoria's company until she had spoken, someone just above her but she could speak freely. "I would of come back but the place seemed a little ... crowded."

The cruel orange-haired vampire smiled her twisted smirk at Courtney's comment. The vampire above her seemed to know just how to stroke her ego, which, in Victoria's opinion, was never a bad trait to have. In actuality, it was actually a favorable thing for the company Victoria kept to have. It made dealing with her rash actions and the sudden appearance of her short temper easier to deal with.
Victoria nodded slightly in agreement, realizing the event she was referring to. Victoria remembered the day with a surprising sharpness. Not because of any particular event that occurred to make it stand out, but rather just because of the oddity of the series of events. Things had escalated quickly and when Victoria left the fight from boredom (After all, Courtney could handle her own. Wasn't that fact that she was here all in one piece proof to that?) Sasha had followed her. That was how it all began, after all, a fight between Victoria and Sasha with Courtney at the orange-haired vampire's aid. However, things never quite returned to their previous vigor and Sasha once again disappeared from Victoria's sight. Victoria liked to entertain the idea that the action was made out of fear, although the fact that Sasha was just returning to her comrade was more likely. Indeed, it had been a long time.
"Oh, I know," agreed Victoria, her voice reflecting the tones of someone who was lamenting from a horrific loss. "It's enough to give a vampire a headache. " Which, of course, was an impossibility. "Especially Freddy. Have you met him? He's the worst. James's newborn," Victoria stated in a matter of fact manner. She paused for a moment, allowing herself to dwell on how great of a nuisance Freddy was to her.
Victoria's face lit up as she remembered what James had mentioned to Laurent the other day. "We need a bigger place. James thinks so too. So I suppose there's going to be a bank heist soon."

Courtney smiled complimenting Victoria was always a good thing to do, she picked that up the very first second she had saw her.
She sighed, "It's a shame that Sasha girl is dead though, I had fun with the relationship she had that Dimitri." She chuckled as she remembered Sasha face after she had kissed him. And now there is this Min, more annoying I think than Sasha was." She rolled her eyes and sat up.
She smiled at the comment about headaches. "Freddie, no I haven't two girls I had met, both with interesting talent, very well picked up, i congradulate you there. Especially the blonde one." She had forgotten the names already but she didn't care, Victoria would probably remained her.
Courtney eyes sparkled, "Sweeeeeet" Courtney had done the odd bank heist twice in her life. It was always fun. Messing with their heads was the best. She had gotten in trouble for it, but she only got a slap on the wrists. Well they had broken them to be honest.

"Sasha?" Victoria repeated, taking the information in. When a human is told someone has died, the first thing they do under normal circumstances is offer their regrets and how upset they are over the subject. However, when a vampire is killed the first thing to suspect is foul play. After all, there is no other way for a vampire to die but by murder. Yet, from the way Courtney was talking about the pathetic vampire's death, it didn't sound like she had committed the deed.
"Who do I owe my thanks to?" asked Victoria in mock formality. She hadn't been too fond of Sasha, mainly because she didn't bend to Victoria's will. Yet, even then, she had been an entertaining sparring partner: sparring with words, that is. She hadn't wronged Victoria in any way that stood out to the orange-haired creature, except for the fact that Sasha was an annoyance. Yet, just cause there's a fly buzzing around your head doesn't mean you want to kill it. No, most of the time you just shoo it away. Not that Victoria was opposed to murder -heavens knows she had killed her fair share of vampires in the past with probable cause- just that it was usually out of revenge of a specific reason. No, the orange-haired vampire much preferred to make them wish they were dead than actually do the deed. In her opinion, it was so much more fulfilling.
"Jamie and Tori," Victoria said with a sense of growing pride. "Tori -the blond one- is mine," stated Victoria with a flash of a wicked grin. The orange-haired vampire often spoke of the newborns as if they were pets rather than actual people. Yet, as far as Victoria cared to think about it, they were. She had created Tori and Spencer. They were hers in her twisted mind. Even if she couldn't control them as best as she wished. "It's a rather odd gift she has. Very beneficial if she can ever get it under control. Unfortunately, she's still stuck in the 'woe is me' stage. You know, wishing she was dead and all."
Victoria paused for a brief moment, considering what she had just said. "Humans are often melodramatic these days. In my decade, death was one of the worst things you could do to someone. I, for one, was grateful to be a vampire."

Courtnet nodded happily, really to think that people shouldbe sad when someone dies, it makes courtney giddy, she didn't know why, it was probably the thought of one less 'veggie' to kill. Courtney laughed at the question, "I would of thought you would of been one of the first to know." Courtney found this very funny that she didn't know. "Your boyfriend." She sighed after she finished laughing.
"She's fantstic," She agreed, t crossed her mind that she had offered these two protection after all this had finished. She felt sorry for them, newborns deserve the right to be vampires not just armies. She groaned when Vitoria explained about Tori, "What is the big deal with these human, you gave them a gift and they are pretty much throwing it back in our faces.I'm the same as you, I was so happy when my master, " She spat the word master out, "offered to change me, unfortunatly he was a 'veggie' so I killed him." She shrugged it off as if it was expected, "I was so much more powerful than him"
