now that she's back in the atmosphere A petite figure stood in the middle of the park. The darkness seemed to move around her. It swirled here and there, trying to engulf her figure but failing. A strange radiance spread from her. It was something like a cold light. A marble like feeling. You might even think she was a statue, standing so still against the backdrop of Forks's little park. A breeze blows up and stirs her hair but in no other way does she react. Clothed in a thin pink blouse and white denim bermudas, Alice cullen certainly struck an elegant pose, even in the dead of night. Her eyes were closed, a thin membrane of pale skin stretched over amber honeyed eyes. Even her breathing had stilled. A little peace and quiet was all that she needed. Away from human civilization, away from the hustle of bustle of normal human life. The little necessities that she coped with, like breathing, or moving every few minutes were cast away as only vampires like herself were awake at this hour. It was closing on midnight.
As quick as lightning, her eyes fluttered open and her head tilted back. The stars twinkled as if they were reflecting the little glimmers in her eyes. A small twitch pulled at the corners of her mouth, pulling them into the minutest smile. Alice had heard a soft noise behind her, nothing a regular human would be able to hear. Only a supernatural sense of hearing could have picked up the smallest disturbance of leaves and miniscule pebbles. She knew who it was, as she knew who would be joining her tonight. Her gift came in handy quite a bit. The only annoyance was that she couldn't see everything exactly. Werewolves were her blind spots, and that she couldn't control exactly what she saw. But otherwise, it was blissfully helpful. It worked almost as well as Edward's. Both had their strengths and weaknesses, their pros and cons. Turning gracefully, she greeted her guest with a warm smile, and laughter in her eyes. with drops of jupiter in her hair

He knew where the girl had went, and followed her. He watched her graceful figure, motionless, yet still graceful. He smiled as the girl in front of him turned around. Alice. She was the reason he was still alive. If he didn't have Alice, he probably wouldn't be here. He loved her, and he'd do anything to make her happy. That was one of the reasons he went to school. Though he hated having to pretend that they were brother and sister. That, he could live without.
In a flash, he was up against her, his arms around her waist. He smiled, holding her close. Hey, Beautiful. he whispered, smiling. He pressed his lips to hers briefly before looking back at her. He was gentle with her. She was fragile. Well, at least in his eyes. He was careful, so as not to break her. He didn't know what he'd do without her. And he didn't ever want to find out.

now that she's back in the atmosphere Alice laughed softly, melodiously, as she slid herself into his arms. The darkness did nothing to hide the apparently love that shone between the two vampires. It was as true and as straight as any beam of light. Love was an unbreakable bond. She could still remember when she first saw him. Well not in her mind anyways. It was a quaint old diner. The old fashioned kind that served homemade apple pie instead of the canned crap. With soft elevator playing in the background, she had stepped out of the rain with a tired and elated grin on her face. She'd finally found him, right where he had been in her visions. He, sadly, was sopping wet. Not shivering though, no, the chilling water did nothing on a vampire's skin. But he was still oh so adorable. She had laughed then too. He looked so pathetic and helpless. When their eyes met though, she knew, that he was the one. She'd never want another, even if he wasn't there with her. She didn't like to think about that.
"Hey baby," she replied as she felt his lips leave hers. She relished his touch, living on it. She often wondered how pointless life would be if she didn't have him. It would be so empty, so lifeless. She'd have no real reason to stay and live her life without Jasper, without the whole Cullen family really. That's truly what they were to her. The bonds between them couldn't be broken. Carlisle and Esme were the closest things that she could ever get to parents. Emmett was really a good big brother. A little over protective at times, just like Jasper. Edward was a funny kid. Their ability to communicate wordlessly was effortless. Plus chess games with him were always more than entertaining. Though Rosalie wasn't considered family, since she and Jasper both had the last name of Hale, she was still closer to Alice than a nomad or so to say. Wrapping her arms slowly around his figure, she looked up at him, holding him tightly. "How're you tonight?" she murmured with a soft ripple of her lips. with drops of jupiter in her hair

He smiled, hearing her speak. Better, now that I'm with you. he said, smiling. It was true. His day always got brighter when he saw her. He smiled again, pressing his lips to hers. He loved the way it felt, their lips molding perfectly. His arms moved up, holding her closer. After a bit, he pulled back, smiling down at her. He didn't have to pull back to breathe or anything. Vampire's didn't need to breathe. He pulled back to speak. So. he said. What would you like to do? he asked, looking into her eyes, waiting for a response.

now that she's back in the atmosphere Jasper just had this effect on her. She loved all the little things he did for her, his charm, his wit. He could bring a smile to her face even if she was ticked off. And she loved him more than anything else in this world or the next one. He was so endearing, caring, and sincere. Oftimes she wondered how someone with a background as harsh as his could bounce back and become what Jasper was today. Completely and utterly changed. Almost nothing was the same. They'd never talked about it a lot. But Edward knew about it all, and she knew most of it. Yet, she never completely understood. She guessed his three hundred and sixty degree turnaround had something to with some spark of hope or defiance of hopelessness.
If she were human, she would be breathless after that kiss. It's what Bella did anything Edward kissed her for a little more than a simple peck on the cheek anyways. She often wondered, if given the chance, would she want her human life back? No if she didn't get to keep Jasper. But you felt so much more and had so many different experiences. Giving up the sharpened senses would be hard though. It was so much easier to sneak up and intimidate normal human beings. Having no memories of her human life herself, she often asked Bella questions, or tried to enhance Bella's human adventures. She wasn't going to be human for long anyways. She was rather satisfied with the wedding anyways. It was absolutely gorgeous. She'd never even planned anything as great as that for anyone, not even Rose and Emmett, or herself and Jasper. She liked to splurge on the little human girl, it was fun! Alice did have to admit that she liked dressing the poor girl up like a Barbie doll, but it was irresistable.
Holding his hand with hers and entwining their fingers. "Wrong question again, love. You should have said, 'What will we be doing?" Alice smiled cheekily and raised her other hand that wasn't holding his to touch lightly below his eye. "We're hunting tonight." with drops of jupiter in her hair

He smiled once she spoke. Alright. he said, pressing his lips to hers. Pulling back, he smiled. But after, we get to have fun. he said, smiling. Pulling back, he held onto her hand, bringing her further into the park, into the more dense part. If they were going to hunt here, they'd need to be where the animals were. Like they'd ever hunt humans. He'd been there once. Not too long ago, actually. Jasper was one of the later members of the Cullen 'family.' Yet he'd been a vampire for quite some time.
So. he said. What will we be hunting? he asked. He figured he'd as what they will be hunting rather than what she wants to hunt, just in case she'd say it was a wrong question again. He looked around, looking at the different animals they had to choose from. There were squirrels, a few deer, rabbits, and if they looked enough, they could probably find a bear. Squirrels and rabbits wouldn't be enough, though. They'd probably go for the deer. It was mostly the animal they fed off anyway.

now that she's back in the atmosphere Laughing, Alice wondered at the word fun. That could have so many meanings, if you get what I mean. For the moment though, she allowed herself to be dragged into the dense forest before she started to pick up the pace. Vampires are, not surprisingly, uncommonly fast. Paired with sharp senses and special gifts at times, they make a deadly weapon. And a weapon was what they were making themselves at the moment. She ran as fast as the wind, dodging trees and making sure Jasper didn't veer off in a different direction. Passing, him, she sent him an impish smile before scanning the area with her personal radar.
Stopping at a small clearing, she cocked her head to listen. There were the heartbeats of small animals and bugs. All rather disgusting. Then there was the larger beat of a bear, though it was very far off. Shaking her head she listened harder. There it was. The distinct heartbeat of a medium sized animal, though this one was plump for its species. Turning to look at Jasper, she parter her lips to answer his question. "Deer," she said before taking off after the animal. with drops of jupiter in her hair

He smiled at her, following as she found a deer. He watched as she caught up to it- rather easilly. Further off in the distance was another deer, around the same age as the one Alice had found. Slowly, he walked up to it, smiling as it just stood there. He held his hand out, stopping a few feet in front of it. In a flash, he was holding it, his lips at the deer's neck. Poor thing didn't see it coming. He drained it fully, not wanting any 'vampire deer' around here. Licking his lips, he walked back up to Alice, smiling, holding her close. So.. Can we have some fun now or are we still hunting? he asked, smiling deviously.

now that she's back in the atmosphere With more than just a few years of expertise in hunting animals, Alice had become quite clean and quick in her feeding. She ran close beside the animal first, too fast for it to respond actually. Swiftly she broke its neck so it died quickly before she bit. Draining the animal until it was dry did not take very long either. Drinking deeply, she needed the warm pulsing blood to quench her thirst. Since she had done this so many times, she could almost imagine her eyes turning a lighter topaz color. The burning sensation in the back of her throat turned milder, almost to the point of disappearing completely. But no vegetarion vampires was that lucky. Only a human's blood did that. For the moment, this was as good as she was going to get.
Taking in the last drops, she suddenly found some arms around her waist. Making sure her mouth and the deer's body was clean, she turned around to face Jasper. Taking in his general appearance, she shook her head. Men, she thought, only feeling a tiny bit of hypocrisy. Though she'd never admit it, she wanted to have fun just as much as he did. But they were a rather mature couple, the oldest couple with only the exception of Carlisle and Esme. They were supposed to keep their romantic antics under wraps. It was for everyone else's benefit, and their sacrifice. If she had it her way, they would spend every waking moment of every day together. Alice sighed, faking contemplation. "I guess so," she finally said with an air of indifference but failed to hold that composure. She could have continued with her facade, but found it more amusing to watch his reactions. Reaching up to his face, she pulled him down for a brief but passionate kiss. "So Mr. Hale," she murmured after she pulled away, "What exactly are we doing tonight?" Alice could very well has looked in the future, but it was never any fun to know everything that was going to happen. Ignorance was bliss as some say. with drops of jupiter in her hair

He smiled, feeling her lips pressed to his. When she spoke, he could tell she was only teasing him. I'm a guy. he said. I think you know what I want. he continued, smiling deviously. Pressing his lips to hers, he pulled her closer. Now, I'm not entirely sure what you want, So you'll just have to tell me. he said, one hand cupping her face. He waited for her answer, unsure of what it would be. Knowing her, it could have been anything.
