Cary walked through the park. He found a bench and sat down. Not a lot was on his mind. And he didn't like it. He liked to be distracted. So, he didn't see the truth of the world. Cary sighed. All he had to do for the weekend was homework. Nothing to do. His motorcycle was still in the shop. Bummer. His guitar's humbuckers were broken, so no playing. And they were a fortune to replace. He just leaned back and watch people pass by.

As Aurora walked through the park, she noticed rarely anyone was here. But why? Today was one of Forks' nicer days. No rain. Yet there weren't many people. Turning on the path, she found a somewhat deserted path. Only one boy on a bench who looked about her age, and two other people who'd just passed him. She walked up to the boy, wondering if he'd be nice, or rude. Hey, she said. How come you're alone out here?

Cary watched the girl approach him. He pretended he didn't notice untill she was close. She was actually pretty hot. Cary pushed that out of his mind. Trying to keep his mind clear, for the oncoming conversation. "Nothing much to do. Decided to come for a walk. And just watch. I don't exactly know what to do around here. I'm not exactly used to living in a small town." He said shrugging. "Well, what brings yourself out here? I'm sure someone as beautiful as you would be out somewhere," Cary said flirting playfully. He hoped she didn't mind. It was just in his nature.

As he spoke about having nothing to do, she smiled slightly. It was pretty much the same for her. She didn't know why she had to live here. Most of the times it was boring. Nothing to do, nowhere to go. The park was her escape. When he called her beautiful, flirting playfully, she blushed, smiling. Same reason as you. Bored. Mind if I sit down? she asked, sitting down. If he said no, she wouldn't move. She didn't want to. She noticed that he was pretty hot himself, but she doubted he thought the same of her.

Cary scooted over slightly."Not at all. I would love it if you would join me." Cary said smiling. He looked her over again. Yep. She was hot. Well, there wasn't anything he could do about that. "So, how long have you lived in Forks?" Cary wasn't sure who was actually born here, or moved here in the past years. It was hard to tell. He shrugged. "Or are you from La Push?" Cary forgot that people often go to each town, they were so close.

She smiled when he said that he'd love for her to join him. As he spoke again, she sighed. I'm from La Push. Seventeen years. Born and raised. It's pretty boring. And yourself? she asked, her eyes scanning his body once more. He was definately hot. And she knew he was a human. He wasn't a vampire or a werewolf. Though, she couldn't change him. She didn't want to comdemn anyone to being a werewolf. It sucked. You phased and ended up with nothing on unless you brought more clothes. Pretty embarrassing if you didn't. Bringing herself back to reality, she focused her gaze on him. I'm Aurora, by the way.[/b]

"I'm Cary," He said smiling. "Well I was born and raised in New York, New York." He said proudly. "It was really cool. Always had something to do, places to go, people to see." Cary dozed out for a second. He was back in the past, thinking of his old friends. But, he quickly came back. "Not quite the same over here," Cary said laughing slightly. "It took a little getting used to, but i think i'm adjusting all right. I take a lot of trips to Port Angelles though. It occupies me," He said shrugging.

She listened as he spoke, smiling slightly as he dozed off for a moment. When he came back and spoke again, she smiled. I've been to Port Angeles a few times. Met some interesting people.. Though I enjoy the forest and the park. Easier to get lost in. You just keep walking and get lost in your thoughts. It's actually quite fun. she said, smiling. Cary is an interesting name.. I don't think I've heard it before. she said, thinking about it for a moment.

"Yeah. . . " Cary said nodding. Not most people expect it in a guy, but I love my name," He shrugged. "I think it suits me fine. But, Aurora. I never heard anything like that either. I suppose it's just because we're from different places. Some names may be common here, that are never even used in New York." Cary agreed with her statement about forests. "For me, it just walking i general. It helps me clear out my mind. I usually try to find places like here. People are here, but it is peaceful."

I like it, too. And yes, your name does fit you. she said, smiling. As he spoke about her name, she shrugged. Leaning back, she put one leg up on the bench, bending it. She was glad she'd worn Capris today. If she'd worn a skirt, she'd be stuck just crossing her legs. She sighed. She didn't really know what to say. She could just flat out say she thought he was hot, but that would be kind of awkward. She also thought of asking him how she looked, but decided against it.

"Yeah," He shrugged. "So, what do you do around here? Besides, walking through the forests that is," He said smiling. He leaned back in the bench. At least he had someone to talk to. Finally, his mind didn't have to go numb, for time to pass by. Well, when he gets his bike back, that won't happen a lot. Hopefully, anyway.

She shrugged. Nothing, really. I go down to First Beach sometimes. Other than that I sit around. Pretty boring until now. she said, shrugging. What about you? Do you just go around sitting on random benches and calling random girls beautiful? she asked, smiling. Yes, she was mocking him, in a way flirting. Teasing him somewhat. She looked up, watching as another couple walked by, staring at Aurora and Cary, so she stared back, only smiling when they got annoyed and looked away.

"I've been to first beach a couple of times." Cary shrugged. "Not often though. I went because I heard about La Push. So, I took a little trip there." Cary laughed. "Yeah. Sitting on benches and calling random girls beautiful, are my thing," He said laughing again. "But, no. I don't do much. I ride my motorcycle around, and play music on my guitar. And that's about it over here. Besides my usual trips to Port Angelles."

She smiled when he spoke of calling random girls beautiful his thing. As he continued, she looked at him, smiling. Really? she said, more of a statement than a question. Pretty hot. she said, smiling. In a way, she was referring to him. Though, she meant him and the guitar and motorcycle. She sighed, bringing her other leg up beside her, bringing both knees up to her chest. Sighing, she looked off into the distance. I'm bored. she said, exhaling. Entertain me? she said, smiling and looking back at him.

"Oh yeah." He laughed slightly. "It is really hot." He smiled. Cary stretched his arms up into the air. "There isn't muh I can do for you. With a broken guitar, and a motorcycle being repaired isn't helping me." He said shrugging. "I can't do much to entertain you."
