She's out of her mind Over half of the time She hangs em high everywhere she goes She bleeds em dry and everybody knows
Victoria practically flew into the small house she shared with James and Laurent, paying little heed to the fact that there were mobs of humans walking home from work just on the other side of the wall. If any of them noticed the inhuman speed Victoria's limbs were moving at, they didn't make it obvious. Besides, at a moment as critical and exciting as this, what the humans thought of the three startling beautiful people that lived in the small house was the last thing on Victoria's mind. Even though the Volturi probably wouldn't like that theory too much, it didn't particularly matter to Victoria at the moment. Besides, the Volturi were half a world away. And no harm, no foul, right?
Only a couple weeks prior -when the Culens had first invaded the town of Forks- Victoria had stumbled upon one of the more volatile Cullens (Edgar, was it?) who had picked a fight with her. Her. Victoria. In her own territory, no less. And ever since (even though it wasn't the official business the small coven of three was working on) Victoria had been set on seeking out her revenge on the Cullens. And that vampire that had attacked her (No, it must have been Edward....) in particular. And anyone who was familiar with the ways of Victoria would know that when she had heart not-beating heart set on something, it was almost guaranteed to play out eventually. Whether it occurred in a timely fashion or not, was a completely different matter, though.
"James!" exclaimed Victoria, not bothering to sit down in the living room. However, she managed to keep herself occupied by pacing -at a painstakingly slow rate, if she did say so herself- the width and length of the room repeatedly. It was an obvious plan that had fallen into her mind while she had been hunting earlier in the day. It was a plan so obvious her mate had probably already considered it, especially since he had been around the Cullens more than Victoria had. However, that wasn't going to quell her excitement.
"Jamsey," the orange-haired vampire sang. "I think I smell a hunt on the horizon."
But it wouldn't just be any normal hunt. No, this one Victoria couldn't stand to make quick and painless, not considering who the coven was dealing with. Her plan was a simple one that involved one Isabella Swan, a painful death and a group of angry Cullens. And it had all spawned from a quick sight she had glimpsed on the mind-reader with the human girl. From the way he looked at her, it was obvious how much he cared for her.
And to Victoria, that was practically a written invitation to wreak havoc.
You'll never have what you never had in you to start You'll never get it cause you never know what you want You take advantage but you never seem to take it to heart Lead on, lead on

James was bored today. He simply laid on a sofa in his room. He didn't seee a need into going to the school again. But, if he was to keep up the sherade, he would have to make more appearances. And soon. He tried stalling, and not going to the school. But, you could only pretend being sick for so long. He didn't even feel like hunting. Which was odd. That was usally how he relieved his boredom.
He heard Victoria enter the home. He didn't feel like greeting her. "I think I smell a hunt on the horizon." That caught his mind. She wouldn't be this excited over mere humans. James jumped up and ran to living room. "What kind of hunt to you have in mind, Victoria?" He knew what she was talking about. But, how? What was she thinking?

Victoria paused mid-stride as James entered the living room, instead focusing her energy on getting her plan into coherent phrases. Her mind was spinning at the simplicity of the plot. Sure, her coven mates had probably given it thought before, but it had suddenly just dawned on Victoria how tangible a plan actually was. It was almost as if it was meant to be. As far as Victoria was concerned, this was the perfect meal just waiting to happen. All it would take was some decent timing and a bit of luck. Which, considering the stunts James, Laurent and herself had pulled off in the past, wasn't asking much.
Victoria focused on remaining still as she squared her shoulders off to James's as her appeared in the living room. With her feet tight together, Victoria leaned upward onto her toes and then back onto her heels repeatedly. Not as quickly as she was capable of going, mind you, but as a steady enough pace to entertain the excess of energy that had suddenly found itself in her body. Her hands laced with one another behind her back as a childish grin framed itself on Victoria's red lips.
"So," Victoria practically sang before recollected herself and putting her thoughts into words. "You know that girl that's always following the Cullens around like a dog? Well, this morning I saw her alone and when I was hunting it just dawned on me. If we pick the right moment and the right location and the right circumstances, we could pull this off. It would practically guarantee mental devastation! Oh, it would be so perfect. We'd just have to have everything ready. But I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem. We could bring her back here if we needed to and lure them back. Divide and conquer, you know?"
Once all the words had escaped from her lips in a mad dash, Victoria realized she wasn't making much sense. But she simply couldn't help it. Giant gaps in just what she was referring to were left unattended thanks to her excitement over the matter. A decent hunt with a good award (and oh, upsetting the Cullens would be one of the better awards) was enough to almost make attending Forks High School worth it.
Almost.

James nodded listening to her. He went over that idea a lot. But, it would be the timing. That would be the problem. James' mind was racing. To many possibilities. But, there isn't a definite outcome. That was bad. It would either crush Edward. Or. Set him into a rage that would definately kill them. "Yes. We could. I've been trying to play that out in my head for a while. We don't know how well the entire family likes her though. If they all do, most likely they will send a straight attack on us. Which we wouldn't be able to handle. No, if it woul crush Edward into depression, that wouldn't do us much good either. One emotionally sick vampire and six vampires attacking us isn't good odds. I agree with your plan but. . We need those newborns. Us and Courtney won't be able to fight off six or seven vampires."

Victoria's dejection over the topic was obvious. Yet, she knew this was why she needed James so desperately in her life. Sometimes Victoria could be too foolhardy and bold for her own good. And by sometimes, of course, it's implied that that was most of the time. After all, the orange-haired vampire tended to get an idea and allow it to take over, and unfortunately for the rest of the coven, Victoria normally didn't let the half-crazed plots disappear into nothingness as quickly as one should let such things go. And this plot against Edward and his human girl, Bella, was no different. However, no matter how many different ways Victoria played it out in her mind, the outcome remained the same in each variation, much to her chagrin. As each slightly altered plan raced through her mind, Victoria's enthused expression fell a little more, until the tips of her red lips were pulled down slightly.
A look of determination had taken the place of her previous obvious excitement. It had suddenly become necessary for Victoria to gain her revenge on Edward and the idea of destroying his precious human seemed like the most suitable option to the orange-haired vampire. The fact that his crime of hunting on her own hunting grounds and attacking her didn't fit the amount of mental pain Victoria desired to inflict on the vampire was lost on Victoria. All that mattered to her at the moment was that she -and consequently the coven- got even with the Cullens.
"It's a good idea," defended Victoria, blatantly ignoring the fact that it was an obvious idea. "It just had a few...holes. The human could prove useful though. When it all plays out, I mean. We could lure them into a trap with her. The mind reader seems rather rash when he's dealing with her. We can use that to our advantage."

"I know it's a good idea. . We just need to work on it a little." James nodded. "That's true to." Suddenly James had an idea hit him. "Now I know what we will do. You say the mind reader can't see as well with her, eh?"James smiled. "We could use her as a sheild. We capture her, and use her to stop the cullens from spying on us. They won't be able to know what's coming." James looked at her. Wondering if she would like it, or not.

Victoria couldn't help but grin slightly to herself as James effectively stroked her ego. A smug smirk hugged the corners of her crimson lips and her dark burgundy eyes glittered with too much pride. It was part of why the coven dynamics worked so well; each member knew how to deal with the others. For instance, one couldn't just shoot down one of Victoria's ideas that she believed to be utter brilliance without repercussions. Even James, who Victoria admired and adored, couldn't pull that stunt off without at least a little backlash, but by reassuring the testy orange-haired vampire that the idea was in fact good, such unfortunate effects were avoided. It proved even better when her ideas were deemed good and modified, much like the current situation.
"They would get so upset," remarked Victoria as a way of approving James's idea. After all, any scheme that inflicted any negative emotions toward the Cullens Victoria approved of. Especially in light of recent events. More and more vampires -and vegetarians ones at that- were migrating to the small town of Forks and the orange-haired vampire had a feeling that if the coven of three didn't act soon, the window of opportunity would soon evaporate as the repercussions of their actions would be too great. Instead, James, Laurent and Victoria would be forced to leave with their tails between their legs, which, needless to say, was not something Victoria favored doing under any circumstances.
"How do we go about it?" questioned Victoria, keeping the images of destruction that would eventually be wreaked on the Cullens in check in the back of her mind.
"Oh. This is going to be so fun." Victoria's voice resembled a teenager's who was just promised a night without curfew. The possibilities were endless.

James smiled. "It would have to be a school ambush. When the cullens arew out. She is usually one of the last people out of the parking lot." James observed all of this intensely. The Cullens disappearing a lot, and Bella have such a crappy truck. It caused her to be the last one out. And, espeically, if a friend came to talk to her. "We simply talk to her for a while. Then, when we are all alone, we simply take her. It won't be that hard. She is a human." James grinned again. "Yes, this will."

Victoria couldn't help but smile her normal malicious grin; it was the sort of thing that could make anyone not accustomed to it shiver in surprise. Not because it was such an unbearable sight to see but rather because it was everything a smile wasn't supposed to be. It was more like an evil, mischievous glint in one's eye transformed into an overgrown smirk.
"Oh, this is going to be too perfect," commented Victoria, the excitement from the scheme evident in her voice. The orange-haired vampire was easily drawn into such plots; the promise of a kidnapping was even better.
Impatiently, the vampire's thoughts began flying forward. It was obvious she was eager for the whole ordeal to begin. "We just need to work out the details. When and who. We should keep a close eye on the Cullens too. Maybe even create a distraction to make sure they're no where near the parking lot. No doubt if the lover boy caught wind of us with his precious human thing, he'd freak." As she continued in thought, her words gradually began coming faster and faster until they were slurred so quickly together that only vampire ears would be able to understand them as anything more than a high pitched hum.
"And Laurent. We should hear what he has to say too. Maybe he could befriend the human girl with that silver tongue of his."
This was what Victoria was good at: being rash and impatient with their endeavors. She didn't enjoy waiting for the obvious reason of having nothing to do but dwell on the events to come. Anticipation wasn't one of her favorite things to do. No, she preferred to act then and there. Impatience was something she was extremely familiar with.
