"Wha-?" Before Jacob could even finish the question, Anna had him dunked. He closed his eyes as he went under the water; he had learned at a young age that salt water didn't feel to nice in your eyes. He blew bubbles while he was under the water and was happy to re-emerge and breathe normally. That was fun. He watched Anna climb up onto the piece of driftwood with a relaxed grin on his face. He was happy treading water all day.
"Who knows," Jacob said softly. He didn't really know what he wanted to do. He had an idea though. Taking a deep breath, Jacob swam under the water, deep enough that Anna wouldn't be able to see him from up above. He reached up with one hand and grabbed the foot she was dipping into the water, pulling her down with him.

Anna went under the water, and opened her eyes. I'm an idiot! she immediatley thought, as the water stung her icy blue eyes. But, she ddin't close them. She could see where Jacob was holding her ankle.
Anan grabbed his hand and pried his fingers away from her foot, making him loose his grip. Then she resurfaced, gasping for air, she waited for him. He is so dead! she told herself. She glared at the water, waiting for him.

Jacob wouldn't have hurt Anna, but he wasn't sure if he knew that. He wasn't taking any chances. Jacob dove deeper under the water and swiftly swam under Anna. He came up on the opposite side of the driftwood where she had been sitting. She was gonna have a hell of a time if she tried to do anything to him. Jacob watched Anna with guarded eyes. It was only fun when you were the strong one.

Anna's expression softened, and then she went under the water again. She grinned, as she resurfaced on the other side of Jacob, then she started circling him. "Dun-nun, dun-nun," she murmurmed, as she continued circling him, like a shark about to attack.
Then Anna dove back under the water, and swam under him. She came up on the other side of him. She poked him in the back, before going back under, again, and ending up on his other side, again.

Jacob watched her with weary eyes. He didn't know what she was doing. When she came up on the other side of him, he spun around. To his surprise, she wasn't there. this went on for a moment or so before he swam to the drift log that she had been sitting on earlier. He pulled himself up on it, steadying himself.
He felt kind of sick. He felt kind of really sick. Too hot, too tired. "Ugh," he mumbled. If Jacob wasn't stupid, he'd have realized that he needed to get home right that second. "I need to get to the beach," he said tiredly.

Anna looked at him, confused. “Huh?” she said, then she realized how tired he looked. He also looked like he was going to puke any second. “Jake, are you okay?” she asked, slightly worried. “You look awful!” she commented. “Like your about to throw up…”
Anna stared at him for a while, unsure of what to do. “Do you need help getting back?” she asked, uncertainty covering every aspect of her voice. “Erm…Hang on.” She said.
Then Anna dove under the drift wood Jacob was sitting on. She ended up on the other side of Jacob and the log. She grabbed hold of the plank and started pushing it back to shore.
