James walked into the small house and slammed the door. He got shot in the hand today. A cloth was around his hand slowing the blood. He had to take the bullet out before it healed. He hurried up and found a pair of tweesers. He slipped out the bullet. And as he did so, the wound healed itself. James sighed and sat on the couch. He fed for the day, and didn't see anything else to do.
He turned on the small T.V. and flipped through the channels. Nothing good was on. He turned it off and just paced around the tiny living room. He was tense for an unknown reason. He wished he knew. Something bad was probably going to happen soon. He felt it in his veins. The Volturi? No. They haven't killed that many people recently. Then who?

You're going to need a body bag I'll break bones you didn't know you had
Victoria walked purposefully towards the small shared house, purposefully not breathing in order to not inhale the tempting scent of the surrounding humans. Her normally brilliant red eyes were a darker shade, a mix of crimson and black, indicating her hunger. Nonetheless, Victoria ignored the urge, something that was very unlike her. But there were bigger problems.
She stormed into the house, shutting the door behind her with an effective boom, making the wall quiver slightly. All of half an hour ago she had been mocking, filled with glee and in a wonderful mood. But a lot had changed in such a short period of time. Her hunger, for one, had begun to take a serious toll on her. But the main issue was a discovery she had made upon her hunting trip.
Normally Victoria tended to remain in Port Angeles, the humans easily convinced into the dark alleys where other crimes tended to take place. Her favorite spot, of course, was in the forest, where she could toy with her victims for hours, leading them off the trails and gifting them with only blurs of her appearance here and there, toying with their emotions. Yet generally, Victoria didn't go too deep into the forest herself, unless she was luring a human away from the familiar. As a rule of thumb, Victoria just didn't see the point in it. Port Angeles had a much denser population then the small town of Forks, so why waste her time? Today, however, had been a different story. In search of a meal and entertainment, Victoria had found herself closer to Forks and had stumbled upon a rather unwelcome guest.
"James!" yelled Victoria, smelling him in the other room. Her face was contorted in anger; a snarl was pressed firmly into her normally smug looking profile. Her hands were pressed against her hips, while her eyes danced dangerously as if daring anyone to press her buttons any harder.
"James!" the orange-haired vampire yelled again, continueing her rampage as she enterted the other room, displeasure evident on her features.
When I'm done there will be nothing left of you For your friends to hold on to

James decided he was blowing things out of proportion. He didn't know what was really going on. He just needed to calm down. He sat back down on the couch and picked up a magazine that was laying on the sidetable. He flipped through the pages uninterested.
"James!"
He heard his name being called. It must be Victoria. James jumped up and ran to her. "What's wrong Victoria?" James asked. He was slightly startled. She was supposed to be hunting. He knew something big must have happened.. Or is about to happen for her to come in here screaming his name. HE told himself just to stay calm and listen to her.

"They're here," spat Victoria, settling down considerably at the sight of James. Well, calming down compared to the height her fury had reached on her return home. It was surprising that Victoria hadn't left a path of destruction in her wake, from both her rage and hunger. She wasn't the one that normally did the yelling and screaming, no, Victoria was the one who could make anything into a mockery. Not many things were serious to the vampire, but her hunger seemed to distort her judgment. Still, frustration and anger seeped from her pores, the vampire emitting it like the sun does heat.
"I can't believe it. Them and their goody-goody attitude. They have no right... I mean. We were here first!" Victoria was speaking too fast for any human ears to make her statements coherent, evidence of her frustration. She was pacing, somewhat antsy, trying to keep the thoughts coherent from their passage from her mind to her tongue, which was proving rather difficult. "And then he threatens me. Can you believe it? We need to make plans, James. We can't just let them stay here. Not on their terms, at least."
Her mind was spinning. So much that she forgot to inform James of who she was referring to and what exactly had happened.
"God, I'm hungry," added Victoria distractedly, pausing from her pacing at the window, glancing into the streets with needing eyes. The scent of blood made her thoughts blur even more so. Trying to focus, the vampire pulled her thoughts back to James, giving all her attention to him, trying to ignore the fresh, tasty could-be meal only a couple of feet away. Just a wall and her will separating her from quenching her thirst...
"What happened to your hand?" Victoria questioned, somewhat comically as her head tilted slightly, her left eyebrow raising curiously.

Victoria was speaking very fast. He could barel get most of it. James thought he got the important peices of it. Someone was here. That just made him feel a lot worse. Realizing that his feeling was right. Btu who the hell was it? Victoria just keeps rambling on they're here. James shook her gently. "Who's here Victoria? Is it Aro? It's not like we have done anything wrong. So, who is here?" But James heard the panic in her voice. IT must be something pretty big to get her this angry.
"Oh..." James looked at his hand. "I was out hunting in the woods and I was being careless. Those 'gun' things are a lot faster than they appear to be. I got shot in the hand. No biggie."

"The Cullens," answered Victoria, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Her irritation was obvious over the encounter. The small clan of three had crossed paths with the Cullens on several occasions, but each time the encounters were generally kept brief: a little feuding, some mockery and harsh words, maybe a couple of exchanged blows and it was over. Besides, who in their right minds would take on a clan of seven compared to their meager number of three? No, the odds were not in Victoria, James and Laurent's favor.
"They're in Forks, acting all human-ly and all. I ran across the old one." Victoria paused, searching for the vampire's name but coming to a loss. She never had been too good with names, and she swore they all looked the same with their bright golden eyes and annoying personalities. "You know, the one that reads minds? And he had the nerve to threaten me," the vampire emphasized, although at this point with her rapidly changing moods, she was finding the situation to be comical. A small smirk framed her ivory lips. "Threatening to sick his family and everything on me..." Despite the lack of humor in the situation, the vampire couldn't help but giggle as the scene replayed in her mind. Sure, it was irritating in hindsight, and rather bothering Victoria had to admit, but during the duration of the occurrence, Victoria had been entertained.
The orange-haired vampire scrutinized James's wound before taking it gently -an action that was somewhat foreign to her- into her grasp for a closer inspection.
"Are you sure you're okay?" pestered Victoria, her fingertips trailing lightly over his hand. "It's the worst thing about dealing with hunters, those trigger-happy fools."

James' teeth clenched as she mentioned that name. They were not exactly his favorite people. "We aren't going to leave. You don't have to worry about that. And we aren't going to abide by their pathetic rules." He hissed. He was furious. How dare they come into their territory and demand things. Their small coven wasn't attracting any attention.
James was running through many scenarios in hi head. Fighting wasn't an option. They were simply to big. He only came up with two options. "We have two options I think... We can't fight them obviously... We have o either create a larger coven.. Or... I don't think you will like the second option."
James squeezed his hand into a fist. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just had to take the bulllet out."

Victoria nodded enthusiastically, hanging from James's every word. Her admiration was evident, despite the odd mixture of frustration and laughter over the Cullens arrival. The vampire had always been extremely fond of her mate, which to an outsider might have seemed somewhat odd for a being so intent on creating misery and chaos to be like an adoring puppy around a guy. But then again, it wasn't just any guy to Victoria.
"I'd rather fight than please scum like them," responded Victoria promptly, although the comment was more to herself than anything. Living from animal's blood was out of the question. The orange-haired vampire found the idea repulsive and degrading, not to mention completely ridiculous. Vampires weren't created to live from animals. No, they were at the top of the food chain: the best of the very best of predators. Besides, what would become of the human race if the vampires simply stopped feeding from them? Not to mention what would become of the vampires in the future if they gave up the soothing taste of human blood? It would end in disaster, of that Victoria was sure.
Victoria's curiosity was spiked. "What's the second option?" she questioned problematically. The idea of creating an army was enthralling. The vampire had seen such things while the small clan had traveled more, particularly in the more southern areas of North America. Of course, keeping things under the table would present a slight problem, but Victoria wouldn't shy from such a challenge. It could be done, and surely the newborns would easy overpower the clan of seven.
The vampire still held James's hand delicately in her own grasp, her fingers almost afraid of pressing too hard, although she was curious about the bullet hole. Victoria knew better than to think that such a small weapon as a gun would cause any serious damage to a vampire, but the thought nonetheless bothered her. Instead, Victoria nodded slightly, forcing a slight grin at James's nonchalant response. Still, she didn't let go of his hand.

James liked her enthusiasm about the army. That will probably be the easiest way. He couldn't deny the other option though. "I know you don't like humans as much as I do. We could enroll in their little human school, and pick them off one by one." James smiled. Either option was great. He was leaning more towards the newborns though. He didn't exactly want to be in a whole school of humans.
He waited for Victoria's response. Most likely they ould go with the new borns. They just have to be careful. They don't want the Volturi coming after them. That would be bad for everyone. Even the humans.

Victoria's eyes lit up in delight. It wasn't quite her style, but who was to say it wasn't worth a try?
"That's clever," commented Victoria, tugging slightly on his hand that was still held firmly in her grasp in excitement. Not so much in excitement over the idea of pretending to be human, but more over the idea of forcing the Cullens into making a decision. The small clan's mere presence wouldn't be enough for the Cullens to be forced into action -or at least Victoria didn't think it would be enough, at least not from what she had seen of the mismatched family in the past- but enough to create tension. And of course they wouldn't dare to attack them in such a public setting. It would be enough to make them feel awkward in their own environment, though. Not to mention it would be totally unexpected.
"Maybe we should..." added Victoria somewhat tentatively over the idea. Excited as she was, it would still be a rather degrading experience. Even though the end result would make it worth it. "It might be hard to keep the newborns in line, after all. And the last thing we would want is the Volturi getting involved. Especially with that old Cullen's connection." Victoria herself had never directly had a run in with the Volturi, although she had heard enough horror stories to let her know that they weren't vampires she wanted to tango with. No, it would be better if they eliminated any chance of the fierce almost-royalty vampires from coming to Forks, no matter what it cost them.
"Let's do it," added Victoria after a moment's hesitation. It was an odd thought, hunting vampires that was. Nonetheless, though, it was exhilarating. Especially when the targets were such an oddity as the Cullen family. The infamous vegetarian vampires.
More like the disgrace of the vampire race

James smiled. This plan was most likely going to work. Getting rid of the Cullens. Their coven was actually known in a bit of places. Hopefully they won't bring in back up. Or that wouldn't be good. He held Victoria's hand. "This will work. And we can create a few new borns on the side aswell. They wouldn't be any help in the school though. They would just kill everything. Maybe Laurent could train a couple while we infiltrate. Then we would be better off if it ever gets to fighting. That would be the safest way."

Victoria nodded eagerly, the sudden plotting making her squirm with excitement. The vampire couldn't quite manage to hold still, dancing slightly on the balls of her feet while her toes curled in anticipation. To make it worse, it was as if each slight movement only fueled her mind to race faster. But there wasn't a doubt in her mind that the plan would work; the Cullens would finally get what had been coming to them for the past decades. Any injustice they had served would be righted. Slightly dramatic -even for Victoria- but still. And if all went well, the plan would be executed with minimal outer interference: no Volturi, no other vegetarian vampires. Of course, Victoria wouldn't oppose to the idea of adding to their own numbers.
"We'll have to pick the humans carefully," agreed Victoria, her mind already spinning at the idea. In her time she had turned very few humans to stand in their ranks. "No drunks or particularly annoying ones, please."
As if any of the humans aren't annoying, mused Victoria spitefully. The thought made the original plot resurface: she would be attending the local high school soon. And they thought high school kids were mean before...
And Laurent, the persuasive one with the silver tongue, would be the perfect one to train the newborns, as long as they didn't get too out of hand, at least. A revolution within the ranks was the last thing that would be needed at such a critical time. Of course, if the numbers were kept small, it would be easy to eliminate the problem sources if it came down to that.
"This just could work," stated the orange-haired vampire, her darkened eyes glittering dangerously. Lovingly, she looped her arms around James's neck, dropping his wounded hand in order to complete the action. She smiled flirtatiously up at him.
"So where do we start?"

"Yes. We don't want any... Idiot new borns. That woud be chaotic. We should pick somethat have strange abilities, that may get heightened with the transformation. Or just athletic ones. Laurent is better with humans tha we are though. He should be able to tell which ones are good." He nodded. This will work. It has to work.
"Laurent will have to start with three ne borns at least. And we can help him out whenever we aren't pretending to be humans. And once those three are under control we can slowly add more and more new borns. But we don't want to exceed ten new borns. We don't want a hug brawl killing them all."
He looked into Victoria's eyes as she slid her arms around his neck. He slid his arms around her waist. "I don't know. Where do you?"

Victoria agreed eagerly. Three would be a good number to begin with, and in all technicality if Laurent could just convince the newborns to pledge loyalty to the small coven then that would be a step up from where James, Laurent and Victoria would have been in facing the Cullens. Adding three newborns would double their numbers, making them almost equal with that of the Cullens. Of course, if somehow they could get ten well trained newborns on their hands, the kind with their hearts in a battle and their loyalties in line, then the tables would be flipped on the Cullens. Thirteen faced with seven would be an easy victory, or at least Victoria hoped so. Of course, with the one Cullen who can see the future and the other that could read minds, it would be slightly difficult keeping their backup plan under wraps. But then again, maybe if they didn't think about it when they were around the one, and as long as it wasn't directly put into motion as the final plan of action, the opponent's powers would be void to help them. It might work, after all.
"I'm sure Laurent can manage it," agreed Victoria whole-heartedly. Even though it wasn't unheard of for Laurent to run head down when a fight was fast approaching, Victoria had every confidence that he could handle this challenge. He was, after all, particularly gifted with convincing people of things. If it came down to it, the struggle for power would come down to brute strength versus brawn, and Victoria didn't doubt that they could easily conquer three head-strong newborns without so much as breaking a sweat.
Victoria hummed in thought. "We should probably start with enrolling in the school. It might be a little difficult, mind you. We don't exactly have records from a past high school..." She paused, letting the words hand on her tongue. "And while we hunt we should probably look out for the special humans. The ones that seem they might have some sort of gift as a vampire. The ones that are in good shape. The ones we can tolerate."

James smiled. "Of course Laurent can manage it. He is more capable than we give him credit. But, he is more suited for this kind of thing. He persuade a blind man to buy a t.v." He chuckled slightly. "He surely wouldn't have a problem with this. We are talking about new borns here. They aren't as smart as they think."
James smiled even bright when she talked about the records. He grabbed a folder from a side table. "You mean these records?" Papers inside the folder contained Victoia's, James', and Laurent's grades from kindergarten to their junior year. "I was feeding inside an abandoned school one day. They have janitors clean them occasionally. And I forged them. I thought we might need them if it ever comes down to it. And just so. We do need them. We are all average students. We are siblings as well." James frowned. "That was the only way people would be belive that we moved together."
